What do I need to make an account?
Just a mobile number. The sign-in code comes by text and the account is made at once.
There's no password. Is that safe?
Every sign-in uses a code texted to your phone. The account menu shows which devices are signed in, and you can sign out any you don't want.
My mobile number has changed.
Write to support. Once we're sure the account is yours, we change the number.
How does the free trial work?
5 GB of space for 5 days, with no payment and no bank card. It's once per number. If you buy a plan within the 5 days, your files stay where they are.
What happens to my files if my plan ends?
Three days later they become read-only, on day six they're hidden, and on day twenty they're deleted. Renewing before day twenty brings everything back. We also text you three days before the end.
How do I pay?
With any Shetab bank card, through a bank gateway. No wallet and no foreign card needed.
What if my space fills up?
New uploads stop and your files stay where they are. Delete something or get a bigger plan.
How do I share a file with someone?
Tap Share on the file. You have three choices: keep it private, invite someone by their mobile number (view only or edit), or make a public link.
The person I invited doesn't have a DROP account.
They sign in with the number you invited, and the file is open to them. Making the account takes a few seconds.
Can I close a public link?
Yes. Once the link is closed, anyone who has it can no longer reach the file.
What do the Windows and Mac apps do?
They put DROP next to your other folders in File Explorer and Finder. Every file shows, but each downloads only when you open it.
Does it work offline?
Files you've opened once stay on the computer and open without internet. Changes sync when you're back online.
When are the phone apps coming?
iPhone first, then Android. Leave your number on each app's page and we'll text you on launch day.
Where are my files kept?
On DROP's servers in data centres inside Iran.
Can anyone see my files?
Only people you've given access. We show no ads and use your files for nothing else.
I deleted a file by mistake.
A deleted file goes to the Trash first, and comes back from there with one click.
